Henry & Stein  | Open: 11/07/05 Close: 11/20/05
Manhattan Comedy Collective, the city's only nonprofit comedy production company, unites elements of its popular Big Bang series with Henry & Stein, a Waiting for Guffman-inspired talent show. This joint production is the first-ever Comedy After the Fall showcase, where each night features Henry & Stein's wacky talent show, flanked by two different encore performances from The Big Bang.

Emerging Artists Theatre's Collection of new works by emering playwrights from across the country


Series A - Tuesdays and Fridays at 7:00 p.m. and Sundays at 5:00 p.m.

In "FOREIGN BODIES" by ANDREW BISS, directed by DYLAN McCULLOUGH, with LAURA FOIS and KURT KINGSLEY, when a trip abroad on the cheap turns nasty, a troubled couple cling to the hope that things will brighten up for them...and indeed they do.

In "ASTEROID BELT" by LAUREN FELDMAN, directed by CADEN HETHORN, with VALERIE DAVID, RACHEL EVE MOSES, and SAM SAGENKAHN, a college student and her parents grapple with fate's challenge of time and space.

In "INVISIBLE" by MARC CASTLE, directed by MARK FINLEY, with RYAN BERIT, NEIL W. GARGUILO, JACK GARRITY, BILL REINKING, and FRANK VOHS, an evening at a gay bar opens the eyes of a certain patron as to what's in store.

Series B - Wednesdays and Saturdays at 7:00 p.m. and Fridays at 9:00 p.m.

In "A WATCHED POT" by KEVIN DRZAKOWSKI, directed by TOM WOJTUNIK, with ASHLEY GREEN, REBECCA HOODWIN, J. MICHAEL ZALLY, and NICK RUGGERI, an inconveniently timed global catastrophe makes it difficult for the President of the United States to heed nature's call.

"MAN ON DOG" by RY HERMAN, directed by DEB GUSTON, with RICHARD BUSSER, DESMOND DUTCHER, ERIN HADLEY, AIMEE HOWARD, and PETER LEVINE, illustrates the uneasy intersection between sex and society.

Series C - Thursdays and Sundays at 7:00 p.m. and Saturdays at 9:00 p.m.

"ROAST BEEF AND THE RARE KISS" by GREGORY FLETCHER, directed by TROY MILLER, with PATRICK ARNHEIM, MATT BOETHIN, LAVETTE GLEIS, and DANAE HANSON, depicts a double date between best friends and the surprise kiss that comes out of no where.

In "THE CHILD" by KERRI KOCHANSKI, directed by STEVEN McELROY, with MICHAEL CLEEFF and LEECIA MANNING, a quiet afternoon of reading for a married couple is interrupted by a cry from within.

"TWELVE ROUNDS" by SHELDON SENEK, directed by NICK MICOZZI, with MATT BOETHIN, DANAE HANSON, JASON HARE, and STACY MAYER, shows an evening of dating where a match could mean a knockout.
