Eve and Evan are twins roped into yet another desperately dull Halloween by their parents. Managing to break free, they maraud, pumpkin-smash and toilet-paper, inadvertently crossing the thin line between worlds on this night of all nights. They enter a house and meet a demoness who has been lying in wait for just such a pair. A harrowing cat-and-mouse game ensues with the stakes being nothing less than their immortal souls. All Hallows Eve is a tale wrapped up in horror, comedy, and blood…and definitely not for young children.

General Mischief Dance Theatre is dedicated to reinforcing the power that joy and laughter have in communicating ideas. The company's mission is to create and present theatrical dance works that engage audiences emotionally, socially, and kinesthetically. Combining aerial work with more earthbound forms of movement, the company removes spatial and physical limits from theatrical dance.

Suite Shel, a one-act suite of dances inspired by the poems of Shel Silverstein, choreographed by Celine Rosenthal, Pushpanjali Sharma, and Emily Smyth Vartanian
Duel, an interactive bungee duet, choreographed by Emily Smyth Vartanian
Duel is a face-off between rival baseball fans (Yankees v. Red Sox). They appear to have made peace by the time flying balls are added to the equation, but the very end of the dance calls that notion into question.
Buzz, choreographed by Emily Smyth Vartanian
Buzz is a multi-part, caffeinated cityscape of a dance. It shows the dancers slowly waking up in the morning, then features them interacting with various objects typical to the morning commute - coffee cups, books, and cell phones - as well as each other. The majority of the time, they pass each other by, unnoticed, but as the piece goes on they begin to connect with each other. The next section, lit only by the dancers’ cell phones, takes place late at night and shows the dancers "connected" electronically, but not connected to the individuals they are supposedly spending time with.
This production will feature performers Jane Abbott, Dare Harlow, Gautam Nima, Pushpanjali Sharma, Andrea Steiner, and Emily Smyth Vartanian, with direction by Celine Rosenthal, and music from Grammy® winning Ozomatli, Led Zepagain, and composer Lizzie Hagstedt.

Flight, written by Robyn Hunt, actress and co-founder/first artistic director of the San Diego Public Theatre and conceived and directed by international director/actor Steve Pearson, makes its New York premiere this March 2011. Flight runs from March 23, 2011 - April 10, 2011 at The Connelly Theater, 220 East 4th Street in New York City.
An intriguing, aerial theatrical work about women fliers before World War I, Flight is a story of perseverance against physical and emotional hardship, courage in the face of great odds, and nurturing the spirit of personal determination.
The setting: a Parisian suburb in 1913. Madeleine and Sophie, two young French aviatrixes, struggle to assemble a Bleriot XI monoplane to fly in a long distance competition from Paris to Moscow. Actresses by profession, the women have taken a short break from performing in Chekhov’s The Seagull to visit their friend, mentor and former production manager, Jean Luc, because he has promised them resources that will enable them to fly; resources, it turns out, that they must literally put together. The two women are also the subjects of a documentary which is being made by a woman filmmaker as they work to prepare the plane. At a time when society considers flying a masculine endeavor and acting an unfavorable profession for a woman, will they succeed? Flight stars Lee Fitzpatrick as “Madeleine” and Jen Burry as “Sophie”, the two ambitious aviatrixes/actresses, Eric Bultman as Jean Luc, a former production manager and owner of the hangar where the women assemble the monoplane, Robyn Hunt as “Alisse”, a documentary film maker and old friend of Jean Luc, and William Shuler as “Gerard”, a young actor in the theatre company who has accompanied the women on their weekend adventure.
Flight is the third in a trilogy of full-length productions by Ms. Hunt and Mr. Pearson inspired by Anton Chekhov’s plays that integrate art, history, and science with powerful, physically demanding performance. Flight now makes its New York debut following initial workshop performances at University of South Carolina’s Center of Performance Experiment in November 2009, and performances this past May 2010 at Columbia, South Carolina’s Longstreet Theatre.

Written in 1996 in response to reports of atrocities and mass rape being committed in the former Yugoslavia, THE COMMISSION is as relevant today as it was 11 years ago. Set in an unnamed foreign land, the play takes an unflinching look at the minefields of the bedroom as well as the fragments, both personal and political, left behind in the wake of a bloody civil war. The story spins backward in time (in the manner of the film "Memento") to reveal the interlocking lives of a young soldier named Ivan; Tulia, the fiancÃ©e he leaves behind; Paula, an American expatriate professor; and her lover Karl, a war crimes investigator with a hidden past.

The Audience is a new musical about an audience watching a Broadway musical. With simultaneous storylines and original songs, The Audience uses the talents of over 30 playwrights, composers and lyricists and 46 actors to create the journey of one vibrant group of theatergoers who venture to a Broadway theatre one rainy Friday night to see a new contemporary American musical.
