The event will feature a recycled creative runway with designs by local designers, along with high school-middle school students from NYC. Hosting 25 models and designs that will make you rethink the way you view trash. The Brooklyn Grange will be transformed into a underwater recycled seascape thanks to local artist Nina Salazar of Studio N111, in collaboration with other artists and students.
This event is a community-driven effort to promote environmental awareness and support the local NYC arts scene. Event proceeds will go to support NY Sunworks.

We will send an email reminder and directions to the building the day of the class. Registration is non-refundable, but in the event of rain or if you give us 24hrs notice, you will be issued a credit which you are welcome to use for enrollment in any of the other Tuesday evening classes listed on our page.
Please feel free to arrive a few minutes early to enjoy the farm before class begins.
ABOUT SARAH CAPUA:
A devoted student of yoga, Sarah Capua practices in awe of these teachings. Dedicated to a tradition both practical and magical, yoga is for her a path of transformation, a foundation on which to build the health and life we hope for ourselves. Sarah began her training at Laughing Lotus in the Vinyasa style, and then deepened her studies at the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram and the Himalayan Iyengar Yoga Centre in India. She recently completed her 500hr training in the tradition of T. Krishnamacharya and has taught for many populations of students, from limber hipsters to children in hospital care, and is honored to have the opportunity to guide her students on their own path in this practice.
