About the Company: IRTE: The Improvisational Repertory Theatre Ensemble
IRTE: The Improvisational Repertory Theatre Ensemble, an ensemble of theatrical actors and writers who will develop, produce, and perform a season of original themed improvisational shows and video sketches following the basic model of traditional repertory theatre.
Passionate and lyrical, spiritual and sexual, earthy and refined - this is a woman's voice speaking to women and to the feminine in both women and men.
Written, choreographed and performed by Irina, the show draws on some of her recent releases: the poetry collection Dancing with Dark Goddesses and the CDs Would That I Could and Roads Travelled, Irina's original settings of her poems. Songs and music from these and from the forthcoming A Net of Souls shape the background to this performance piece.
