"Theater for the students, by the students"

Pace University's Studio 501 is an undergraduate student-run theater organization. Studio 501 is in charge of selecting performance pieces to be created by the students and performed for the students. Each season we accept submissions and select two to four pieces to produce. Students involved with the productions use the space to direct a show, get acting experience, light design, sound design, set design, costume design, stage manage, produce a self-written work, produce a published play or musical, and create a unique, hands-on experience.
