8PM, September 29

usher in october with... "THE DEATH OF SEPTEMBER"

FEATURING: ALEJANDRO ACIERTO, ELISSA BASSIST, BUSHRA REHMAN, PUSHKAR SHARMA, WARREN TONG, and more...

The hour to bury the last canaries of the summer and welcome the horrible ghouls of October has come.... Come pay your last respects to September and join our heinous cabal as we share the most macabre, depraved, and morbid works of the Halloween season.

A grisly night of original pieces of dark magic, music, and literature "THE DEATH OF SEPTEMBER" will feature the thrilling and terrifying (and side-splitting..!) work of:

Bushra Rehman (featured on BBC Radio 4, in The New York Times, NY Newsday, and ColorLines)
Elissa Bassist (editor of the Funny Women column on TheRumpus.net; featured in The New York Times, The Daily Beast, and McSweeney's Internet Tendency)
Nicholas Powers (Assistant Professor of Literature at SUNY Old Westbury, the Indypendent, Alternet)
Warren Tong (Asian American Writers' Workshop and Cave Canem)

AND THE WORLD PREMIERE of a cursed radio play
"THE MUTINOUS SEPOY"
scored by Alejandro Acierto (founding member of the Chicago-based chamber orchestra ensemble dal niente and member of the New York-based groups Loadbang and thingNY)

and written by that master of brown magic Pushkar Sharma (The Asian American Literary Review, DesiLit Magazine, NY International Fringe Festival, Chicago's Rasaka Theatre).

Experience the supernatural! The horror! The darkness! One night only....
