Extensive research, including recent studies by the Arts Education Partnership, has documented the impact of arts education as a tool for transformation. Mark DeGarmo & Dancers/Dynamic Forms Inc. (MDDF) provides a comprehensive arts experience to students from economically disadvantaged circumstances producing both positive academic and social results.

MDDF has provided multi-year partnership programs to 25 NYC schools, including public school students and communities underserved in the arts, dance, and aesthetic education

For every $1.00 contributed to MDDF there is a $2.11 benefit to society (Columbia Business School, MDDF Social Return on Investment Study, 2010)

A trustee of a major NYC arts education foundation recently said: "Your arts and literacy programs are singular in the services you provide to NYC schools and youth."

MDDF has served 1,400 students annually and continues to be a major presence in the Lower East Side community
