New York Classical Theatre has brought Free Shakespeare and Classical Theatre to the Public in Central Park and Battery Park City for the past 10 years and is proud to present it's 11th Season!

Much Ado About Nothing takes a humorous look at personal responsibility within romantic relationships. It is staged in 1945 and celebrates the joy and excitement felt by the people of post-war New York.  This production will feature the foxtrot and swing dance and be staged by our signature style of Panoramic Theatre.

Much Ado About Nothing begins it's run downtown in Battery Park meeting at Castle Clinton. July 17 through August 1. Dates as follows: July 17, 18,19, 20, 21, 23, 24, 25, 26, 30, 31 and August 1st all shows at 7pm.  **Take the  R or W Train to Whitehall Street or the 1 Train to South Ferry**

...and then Much Ado About Nothing runs back uptown, inside of Central Park at W. 103rd Street & Central Park West,  on a Thursday - Sunday schedule, August 5 through August 29, all shows at 7pm. **Take the C or E Train to 103rd Street.**

The cast includes: Blair Baker, Ari Brand, Kristen Calgaro, Christopher Cass, Cooper D'Ambrose, Donald Grody, John Michalski, Kevin Orton, Thom Rivera, Fred Rose, Nick Salamone and Kim Stauffer.

As you watch the show, the next scene that is about to happen, starts about 50 feet away and then you are off!  The whole audience follows the actors to where the scene is taking place approximately, every 10 to 15 minutes.  So, no snoozing during these Shakespeare productions! Wear comfortable shoes or sneakers.  The shows are also wheelchair accessible. When the sun goes down, the actors are lit by flashlights held by New York Classical Theatre's production team, with a little help from nature's fireflies.

Come early and have a picnic, but get ready to eat and run, once the play begins.  A great workout for your body and mind!
