Dogfight is a new musical written by TONY Nominees Benj Pasek & Justin Paul (A Christmas Story) with a book by Peter Duchan -- based on the blockbuster 1991 Warner Bros. film starring River Phoenix and Lili Taylor; screenplay written by Bob Comfort.

Dogfight chronicles a final “boys’ night out” for three Marines on November 21, 1963; the eve of their deployment to a growing conflict in Southeast Asia (Vietnam). The Marines plan for a night of debauchery, partying and maybe a little trouble. When Corporal Eddie Birdlace meets Rose, an awkward and idealistic waitress; he wages a cruel bet with his fellow recruits. However, Rose rewrites the rules of the game and teaches Eddie the power of compassion.

A hauntingly beautiful musical praised by countless critics and nominated for nearly every award available including winning the Lucille Lortel Award for Best Musical, Dogfight will be presented at the White Plains Performing Arts Center by Harrison Summer Theater; the company who also produced the well-received Spring Awakening and Bare at WPPAC.

Bare: A Pop Opera  | Open: 07/26/13 Close: 07/28/13
The musical is about the coming-of-age story of five high school seniors at a Catholic boarding school. Knowing their stay in this insular world is drawing to a close, each of them question where they are in their lives and what the future holds in store. Answers are sought in the church confessional and in less formal venues including a stage, a rave, and a well-locked dorm room. The story zooms in on the love relationship between two boys, Peter and Jason. Peter a socially awkward loner and Jason the golden boy popular jock. Through out the story we see the struggles, trials and tribulations that they go through to keep their relationship alive and hidden, and how their love affects their friends and the people around them. Will the world accept them? This is a beautiful story of going against adults, religion and everything that they were ever told
