Puppetry Of The Penis  | Open: 07/13/10 Close: 09/04/10
New York’s love affair with the penis continues this summer as the world’s top genital origami attraction, Puppetry of the Penis, makes its triumphant return to Off Broadway.  Puppetry of the Penis will shock, delight and astonish crowds at The Green Room Theatre (45 Bleeker Street) for eight weeks only, beginning on Tuesday, July 13 and playing through Saturday, September 4.  World-renowned genital artists Rich Binning and Gavin Stewart star in this landmark production, presented by Foster Entertainment and Simon Morley, which will also feature opening acts performed by Amy Schumer and Rachel Feinstein.

Literally stretching the human body to its absolute limit, genital artists Rich Binning and Gavin Stewart will present over forty astonishing, now-iconic penis installations including the Pelican, The Windsurfer, The Eiffel Tower, Loch Ness Monster, and their mind-boggling, signature installation: the Hamburger.  A handful of breathtaking new installations, including Yoda, Sombrero, and E.T., will be performed forthe first time on a New York stage.

Created by Simon Morley and David Friend in 1996, Puppetry of the Penis introduced the world to the ancient Australian art of genital origami. It has been experienced by over 1 million people (including the likes of Hugh Grant, Naomi Campbell, Posh Spice, Christina Aguilera, Nicole Richie, Bono andElton John) in over 14 countries (including theU.S., Great Britain, Australia, Holland, Germany, Ireland,Canada, New Zealand, Belgium, Iceland, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Portugal). It has been translated into three languages, had a “how to” book published, been featured on HBO’s “Real Sex” since 2002, and had DVD releases throughout the world.

Bouffon Glass Menajoree  | Open: 06/20/08 Close: 08/29/08
Tennessee Williams' classic tale is shattered in this twisted, outrageous bouffon parody. Each night a new audience member plays the role of the Gentleman Caller. Why would anyone do this to an American Masterpiece?
