New York City based actress and playwright, Leanne Linsky, proudly presents her critically-acclaimed, one-woman show, Lady Luck is a Whore, at the United Solo Theatre Festival 2012.  An autobiographical sketch comedy, the solo piece is about Linsky’s experiences with marriage, friendships, and spiritual beliefs.  Doesn’t every woman want to move to Vegas, sell guns, and get married a couple of times?

Three Movements  | Open: 10/17/08 Close: 10/26/08
Heiress Productions presents the New York premiere of THREE MOVEMENTS by Martin Zimmerman from October 17 – 26 at the Studio Theatre, Theatre Row (410 W. 42nd Street, NYC). Tickets are $18 and are available at www.ticketcentral.com or by phone at 212-279-4200.

Based on the life of ballet legend George Balanchine, THREE MOVEMENTS follows a fictional choreographer, Alex, as he nurses polio-stricken Sonia, his wife and his greatest dancer. Unable to face the reality that she will never dance again, he convinces himself that he can save his muse. When he becomes frustrated with her lack of progress, though, he leaves her to pursue a promising young dancer, Lindsay. The play examines the complex relationship between choreographer and dancer, the power of eroticism in art, and how people choose (or refuse) to confront illness and the aging process.

Tape  | Open: 05/31/06 Close: 06/11/06
Jon, an aspiring filmmaker on the verge of hitting it big, hooks up for the weekend with his best friend from high school, Vince, a volunteer fireman who makes his money selling dope. Jon's new film is being shown at a festival in Lansing, Michigan, and Vince has come from Oakland to see it. Over the course of the evening, Vince finally gets Jon to admit that ten years ago he date-raped Amy Randall, a girl whom they both dated in high school—only then to reveal that he's taped their entire conversation. And not only that, he's invited Amy to have dinner with them that night. Beneath its sus-penseful, high-stakes surface, TAPE examines questions of motive, memory, truth and perception.
