Based on real life events, this original story is written by the creator of last season’s critically acclaimed “Snow White”.


Jack, an inspirational dreamer, is determined to find a better life for his family.  Experience his fantastical journey to a world transformed, where everything is constantly growing and changing.  Giants reign, Harps sing, Geese lay golden eggs and Jack discovers that community, self-empowerment and ART can win over all.


This Actors’ Equity Approved Showcase is comprised of a tight ensemble of five professional adult actors and five young up-and-coming actors trained directly from our program.

 A Non-Traditional, Re-Invented and Re-Imagined version of J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan. Our Peter Pan is played by an actual 12 year old boy, just as the author originally intended. Our version of flying is not a pulley system, but rather a multimedia adventure.  To add a final twist, our Captain Hook is a woman!  Journey with us to a new Never Land where imagination and make believe are child inspired with wild abandon.

Enemies, A Love Story  | Open: 09/24/09 Close: 10/18/09
"Enemies, a Love Story" is an adaptation of a shocking novel with unique characters and unpredictable sequence of events.

The action takes place in the New York Jewish community in the 1940s-1950s. Herman Broder, the main character, in a twisted turn of events, finds himself being a husband of three different women at the same time.
One of them - Yadwiga - is his former Polish peasant servant. The second one is his beloved mistress Masha. The third one is Tamara - his lawful wife, who he thought had been long dead.
Out of the blue, Tamara shows up in New York and finds Herman.
Each one of these women lays her claim on Herman, and each one is dear to him in her own way...

Sideways Stories From Wayside School  | Open: 04/20/06 Close: 05/21/06
Wayside Elementary school is a wacky world where Myron, Dameon, Leslie, Rhondi, and Bebe attend class on the top floor of their 30-story school (an architect accidentally built the school's 30 classrooms on top of one another rather than side-by-side.) This zany classroom adventure is filled with tornado drills, talking pigtails, and wicked teachers who turn students into apples. Journey amidst the craziness as the Wayside students learn some valuable lessons about life! The New Acting Company prides itself in producing sophisticated and entertaining plays that appeal to all adults in the audience as much as to the children without being patronizing. We truly are a theater company for all ages!
