Dixon Place’s (Ellie Covan, Founding & Artistic Director) commission tiger tiger (on the nature of violence) written and directed by playwright Jessica Almasy, will have its world premiere on Friday, November 6th at 7:30 PM. The music is composed by Dan Veksler in collaboration with Ms. Almasy. tiger tiger (on the nature of violence) will play six performances only – November 6th, 7th, 13th, 14th, 20th, and 21st at 7:30PM, at Dixon Place (161A Chrystie Street). In tiger tiger (on the nature of violence), three boys walk into a zoo in San Francisco, two walk out in handcuffs & the world is turned upside down when a tiger is on the loose & the media wants an answer. This American pastoral is not appropriate for children.
