Late Night News:  Wake Up And Smell The Headlines

Winner of the 2014 SHITFA (Supreme Honorary Improvised Theater & Film Award) for Outstanding Genre Performance (THE SCARY, Improvised Stephen King), IRTE, the Improvisational Repertory Theatre Ensemble, invites you to "wake up and smell the Headlines" with Late Night News.

Come see the comedy theatre company whose previous show was called "so much fun...comedic brilliance"  (Susanne Pinedo, Pinedo PR) and an "amazing improv super-crew." (Roberto Tobar, Comedy Blogger)

The NYC-based ensemble of comedy performers returns with its own unique brand of original themed, character-driven improvisational shows performed in rep. Late Night News, directed by Curt Dixon (IRTE founding member, Gotham City Improv main stage member, Groundlings alum), is a live improvised and audience interactive comedy news show.

The IRTE News Team will include Artistic Director Nannette Deasy and IRTE Ensemble Robert Baumgardner, Bill Berg, Jamie Maloney and Marcia Sofley. They will be joined by guest performers Evie Aronson (TruTV, HBO Films, Frigid Fest NY) and Melissa Cole (Cherub Improv, Small Faces).  The group’s collective credits include off-Broadway theater, national tours and feature film.

Each show will include appearances by talented up and comers from the NY indie music scene, including Craig Greenberg on May 9th and Tym Moss on May 16.
