Horse Trade’s Resident Artist Program offers a home to a select group of Independent theater artists, pooling together a great deal of talent and energy. It is also the home of FRIGID New York – the first and only festival of its kind in New York City. Eric Goodman is a musician and video producer living in New York City. He has studied digital music, music composition, video production and film scoring at Cornell University and the New York City Center for the Media Arts.

For over fifteen years, Eric has produced the evolving conceptual music video-based rock show THUS SPOKE THE SPECTACLE, fusing original musical compositions, filmed and found footage, and research and insights into the nature and effects of our corporate-controlled, media saturated, technological society.

He has performed the show at theaters, colleges, conferences, film and music festivals, and performing arts centers throughout the United States.

Born in Brasilia, Brazil and living in New York since 2004, Leo Freire has been playing the drums since age 12. Leo earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music, with Honors distinction, from the prestigious Macaulay Honors Program at Hunter College, which he attended on a full tuition four-year scholarship.

Winning a scholarship to study at the renowned New York Drummer's Collective, Leo was mentored by Frank Katz (Brand X) and has studied privately with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Shawn Pelton (Saturday Night Live), Will Calhoun (Living Colour), Adam Deitch (Pretty Lights, John Scofield), and studio legend Bernard Purdie.

In August 2011, Leo was crowned the Manhattan Champion of the national Sam Ash Best in Drums competition. Professional highlights include recording sessions with established NYC producers and engineers, and extensive performance credits at venues including Bowery Ballroom, Brooklyn Bowl, Webster Hall, The Double Door (Chicago, IL), Jammin Java (Vienna, VA), and Theater of Living Arts (Philadelphia, PA).

Adding to an impressive list of collaborative ventures, Leo joined THUS SPOKE THE SPECTACLE in the fall of 2014.
