Come sail the high seas with The Pumpkin Pie Show! An outbreak of norovirus quickly spreads through the passengers and crew onboard a luxury cruise-liner, including the captain, cutting short this sunny sojourn through the tropics. But before the ship can dock at the nearest port, tensions escalate amongst the frantic passengers. The foundation of civil society quickly deteriorates—dividing everyone onboard into two separate camps: those who are sick and those who aren’t. As the ship veers far off course and the number of ill passengers rises, one family must fight for their survival onboard this sun-and-blood drenched cruise into madness.
Join writer/performer Clay McLeod Chapman (Hostage Song with Kyle Jarrow; SCKBSTD with Bruce Hornsby), performers Hanna Cheek (Mac Rogers’ Sovereign with Gideon Productions; GOODBAR with Waterwell; named one of Time Out NY’s ‘Future Legends of NYC Theatre’ in 2013), Abe Goldfarb (I Hope They Serve Beer on Broadway), Brian Silliman (2014 NYIT Award Nominee for Outstanding Lead Actor in Dark Water with MTWorks; Kill Shakespeare with Gideon Productions), and Katie Hartman (Skinny Bitch Jesus Meeting) with musician Kyle Jarrow (frontman for Sky Pony; Obie Award winning playwright) as they celebrate Halloween with the 17th annual Pumpkin Pie Show! The show will play at UNDER St. Marks (94 St. Marks Place between 1st Avenue and Avenue A) October 16-November 1, Thursday through Saturday at 8pm. Tickets ($18/$15 students & seniors) are available online at www.horseTRADE.info or by calling 1-888-596-1027.
