New York theatre reviewer Maddox witnesses an incredible stranger at a Broadway show. He can’t get his mind off the girl. Years later, he sees her again. This time, in unfortunate circumstances. He takes a chance and sets out to rescue her, to put her on stage again where she belongs by giving her the ultimate gift…a beautiful role on Broadway. But does the woman in question, wish to be rescued? Did he sacrifice everything for naught?
