Join brilliant, funny young music entrepreneurs Pianists Dorothy Chan and Mari Hwang on Friday, January 31 at 7pm, Cary Hall at DiMenna Center (450 w37th St, NYC).

Q. What does it mean by 'piano four-hands'?
- It means two pianists will share playing one piano together. It is rare to find instruments which two people can share playing it together. Unlike solo playing, piano four-hands bring on different challenges on hand choreography and of course fighting over who gets more space sitting down at the piano.

Q. What can we expect from this concert?
- This is a concert for everyone. We welcome regular concert go-ers and first-timers. There will be a lot of audience participations and conversation between audience and performers. It's totally okay to ask any questions during the concert.

Q. What is the program?
- We will be playing selections from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite, as heard in ballet; Saint-Saens' Carnival of the Animals, which is featured in many films. Also Mozart and Moszkowski. Bizet's 'Petite suite'. Mozart's Sonata in Bb major, K.358 and Moszkowski's 'Neue Spanische Tänze, Op.65' are also on the program.

Q. How did you meet each other?
- Pianists Dorothy Chan and Mari Hwang met while both were students at Manhattan School of Music. Upon graduating, we had many conversations about our career as concert pianists and little by little we were able to come to this four-hands project which we're very excited about and has been a great learning experience as music entrepreneurs.
