Written by Idaho playwright, Patrick Rexroat, Day of the Feast poetically explores emotional connections to food and the act of consumption in the face of grief. Through the perspective of the family members, their dog, and the rat under their porch, a sequence of events unfolds that challenges their values and the reality on which their world is built. The show also features an original score, composed by Ahmed Alabaca, which he will perform live at every performance.

Day of the Feast premiers in New York City on February 7, 8, 9, 15 & 16 at DCTV, a landmark former firehouse in lower Manhattan. Our goal is to bring this production to the Busan International Performing Arts Festival in Korea in 2015.
