Perchance To Dream Theatre is a new theatre company interested in infusing fresh and spirited interpretations of new and classic works. We aim for the highest level of artistic and professional productions while keeping our ticket prices affordable.  We believe theatre should be accessible to all and is an integral part of the international cultural community. 

PTDT is the brainchild of Elizabeth Dapo and Emma Schimminger, a result of their post-graduate work at the Central School Of Speech And Drama in London, England. Their mutual research interests culminated in a production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, an exploration of Shakespeare's classic text combining the use of sacred spaces and performance.  This production was a "promenade performance" - each scene took place in a different part of the Maple Grove Cemetery in Queens.  Actors wore original masks and used puppets to represent the fairies, all original works of art by Ms. Dapo.
