Providing an alternative to the traditional holiday themed December show, The Gallery Players will present The History Boys December 8-23, 2012.
The History Boys transports audiences to a British grammar school as six young men pursue sex, sports and top marks on their university entry exams. Along the way, the professors help and hinder their students as Alan Bennett’s script questions the nature and purpose of education. One of the winningest plays in history, The History Boys has won a Laurence Olivier Award and six Tony Awards.
Bringing the show to life in Brooklyn is a talented ensemble featuring Rosalind Ashford*, Corey Camperchioli*, Matt Cusack*, Thomas Edward, Michael Gregory, Josh Gulotta, Michael S. Horowitz, Cory Michael Kosel, Jake Levitt, David Lind, James Luse and Gen Parton Shin.
