The play, Of Snow, War, and Zulu, takes place during the 1930s, at an old dilapidated lodge in the Colorado wilderness. Alan, a young nurse from the local hospital, has been sent to investigate the disappearance of Nurse Wyatt, an elderly woman who was taking care of the lodge's owner, Colonel Colvalt. The story unravels as Alan and his partner, Marrow, try to solve the mystery of Nurse Wyatt's disappearance while dealing with the inhospitable Colonel.
