Genre: Classical, Drama
Written by William Shakespeare, Directed by Michael Hagins

C.A.G.E. Theatre Company is proud to present an abridged version of The Tragedy of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark.  Michae Rehse stars as Hamlet, a young man returning for his father's funeral, only to find his mother, Queen Gertrude (Emily Frail), marrying his smooth yet seemingly treacherous uncle Claudius (Fernando Lamberty).  A chance meeting with supernatural elements and possible madness drive him to ponder the ultimate revenge - regicide.  But has Hamlet really gone mad?  Or is there a deeper side to his inner psyche?

And...how does his journey affect his love Ophelia (Melissa Meli), her brother Laertes (Sean Ward) and father Polonius (Thomas Cox), Hamlet's best friends Horatio (Michael Hagins), Rosencrantz and Guildenstern (Kristen Penner and Lorelai McKenzie)?  And why is the gravedigger (Laura Grayson) lurking around happily singing?
