Horse Trade Theater Group (Heidi Grumelot, Artistic Director, Erez Ziv, Managing Director) will present the World Premiere of Spookfish Theatre Company’s mutli-media solo show, The ABC’s Guide to Getting Famous, written and performed by Ming Peiffer (Pornography for the People; New. Tricks!) in collaboration with director Kat Yen (Wabi Sabi! Not Wasabi).
Part documentary and part solo-show, The ABC's Guide To Getting Famous is a raw look into the real lives of Asian American artists trying to make it in the entertainment industry. Funny, heartbreaking, and, at times, downright offensive...This hybrid film/theater piece is an honest investigation of race in casting.
