FringeNYC presents I’m Sorry, one woman’s funny, heartbreaking and bold journey to finding her voice, written and performed by Katya Lidsky, directed by Gilles Chiasson. Every performance will provide awareness and donations to a non-profit organization which helps animals.
Do you like me? Do you ‘get’ me? Where do I belong? A people-pleasing apologist turns animal-loving activist in an entertaining and poignant story about finding your purpose and affecting positive change. Katya Lidsky plays 16 characters– some female, some male, some four-legged – shining a spotlight on contemporary animal welfare issues while tackling the challenges of integrity and self-esteem. Sometimes you have to find something to believe in before you can stop saying I'm Sorry.
