QUEST OF THE HERO!

Genre: Comedy
Written by Michael Hagins, Directed by Li Murillo

Do you like the following:

- Old school Nintendo games like Super Mario Bros. and Legend of Zelda?
- Dungeons and Dragons or other role-playing games?
- Flashy fights?
- Hot women in skimpy outfits?
- Lots of comedy?
- Witty and biting satire?
- Buff, heroic guys with charm, looks, and intelligence?
- Evil villains who are are vicious and want to conquer the world?
- An excellent story told by a bass-voiced narrator?
- Shows that could possibly get sued by several major gamer companies?

If you said yes to any of this, then you will love that TND Productions is bringing back the audience and crowd-pleasing Quest of the Hero! Director Li Murillo comes out of her hiatus and takes the original work of Michael Hagins to the next level. The story centers around young man Chester (Christian Sochor) and his quest to save the princess while enduring loads of fighting, ridiculous sidekicks and dangerous villains in his hope to finally get laid. Quest of the Hero! is a satire on old-school Nintendo games, old-school role playing games such as Dungeons and Dragons, and new-school stage combat, along with an homage to society stereotypes and the gamer culture.

The show will be performed at the Beckmann Theatre at the American Theatre of Actors, 314 W. 54th St. between 8th and 9th Ave.  The show will be performed in rep with the Merchant of Venice.
