Kevin Gomez Nick Piazza

is an upper junior at York College. He is currently majoring in Speech Communication/Theatre Arts with a concentration in Theatre Arts. He took an interest in the arts after taking a Basic Acting course at York with Professor Schilling. Kevin also enjoys listening to music, watching movies, as well as putting on small performances at church-related events. His past productions include: Scapin, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged, All InThe Timing, The Tempest, CVR, SlapDASH, Don Juan in Chicago and Fame.

Amalia Bueno Serena Katz


AMALIA BUENOhas had a love for singing and dancing since she was a young kid.  A friend at York College told her about Fame which included appealed to both of her passions.  She has now ventured into acting and has discovered that it is as rewarding as her first two loves.

Jarrel Lynch Joe Vegas

his past production credits include: Little Shop of Horrors, Fabulation, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged, Macbeth, All In The Timing and Fame.  Jarrel has been a stage technician, actor, and an assistant stage manager for a number of shows at York.  The skills that he has gained through productions and coursework at York also help with work outside the school. He wants to keep the theater close while he continues his profession in Communications & Technology, pursuing a career in sports-casting and videography.

Ryshon Shepherd Tyrone Jackson


RYSHON SHEPHERD is a senior here at YorkCollege, majoring in Speech Communication/Theater Arts with a minor in Psychology. This is his first performance in a musical, however he is no stranger to the stage.  Some of his past productions include: The Exonerated, Fabulation and Scapin.  With a strong passion for acting, he is bound to end up on the big screen or Broadway.

Rashia Burrell Carmen Diaz

 RASHIA BURRELL is a junior at York College who graduated from the Music & Arts High School and the Juilliard School of Music's MAP program.  She has been a part of twoAmas Musical Theatre, Off Broadwayproductions and is amember of the singing group Bittar Sweet and the JohnRobert Powers ActingSchool.  Rashia aspires to pursue a career in the entertainment Industry and also obtain a law degree.

Sebrena Mason Iris Kelly

SEBRENA MASON is an upper senior, majoring Speech Communication/ Theatre Arts. This is her fifth performance with the York College Theatre. Her past productions include Yo Soy Latina, Scapin, All In The Timing and Fame. Even with just four productions at York, Sebrena is no stranger to the stage.  She has been in many productions outside of York, with a theatre company in the city. Since the age of two, Sebrena has been a classically trained ballerina and has a love for music and the arts as well as the sciences. She plans to have her own dance school and company in the future and is looking forward to teaching those who share the same love for dance and the arts as she does. She hopes to go far in show business with her acting and dancing skills, and will not give up her love for science as well.

Shonique Tiffany Solomon Mabel Washington

 SHONIQUE TIFFANY SOLOMON is a Sophomore at York College majoring in Marketing , with a minor in Theatre Arts.  She is a Brooklyn native and has been involved in theatre, music and dance for a long time. This is not Shonique’s first performance. She has performed in three off-Broadway musicals and numerous ensemble acts, including dancing and singing since the age of five. She knows that this is her passion and is continuing to perfect her craft. Shonique also has a compassionate side, with over five years in community outreach/activism.

Stephen Pink Schlomo Metzenbaum

is a sophomore at York College. Mr. Pink has a tremendous passion for singing and dancing and has found nothing more satisfying. He believes that he can achieve the impossible because of his talents. Some of his past performances include: FAME The Musical, The Red Shoes, West Side Story and All Shook Up

Olubukola Ogunmola Grace "Lambchops" Lamb


OLUBUKOLA OGUNMOLA who goes by the name Bukola, is a junior at York College. Her major is Marketing, with a minor in Theater Arts. Following last semester’s Fabulation and The Tempest, this is her third production with the York College Theater program. She is looking forward to being involved with many more.

Phil Williams Goodman "Goody" King

PHIL WILLIAMS is a lower junior at York College majoring in Speech Communication/Theater Arts with a minor in Music. He has been a member of the York College Big Band since 2008, under the direction of Prof. Tom Zlabinger. He made his acting debut at York last semester, participating in the York College Drama Club’s production of I Am Pan Africa, and York's first fully staged Shakespearian play, The Tempest. He is very excited about being in a musical, as it combines the two art forms he loves. He looks forward to participating in future productions at York, even after he graduates, as well as countless other ventures in the performing arts.

Dominique Jamison Ms. Ester Sherman


DOMINIQUE JAMISON has been in various plays throughout her life. She has also, made several cameos on TV shows such as Law & Order and Let’s Talk Pep. Whenever she is not performing, she is freelance styling or playing rough in the ring, as a boxer. She loves to cook Italian cuisine as well as speak the language.  Her motto is, “A Diva has to do, what a Diva has to do.”

Sabrina Thomas Ms. Greta Bell

is a senior at York College working towards her B.A in Speech Communication/Theatre Arts.  Her past productions include: FAME, The Musical (Ms. Bell), Macbeth (Lady Macbeth) and RENT (Mimi Marquez).  Sabrina is a well known student at the Brooklyn Conservatory of the Arts where she studied the piano and voice for multiple years.  In the near future she aspires to pursue a career in musical theatre.  Sabrina lives by this motto, " life beats down and crushes the soul, and art remind you that you have one.” - Stella Adler.

Leah Kesselly Mrs. Meyers


LEAH KESSELLY is a senior at York College is majoring in Biology. Although she is studying medicine, she also has an extreme passion for acting. She has always been involved in the theater world whether it was on stage or working backstage. Leah has performed in various plays such as A Street Car Named Desire, Hamlet, and A Mid Summer Nights Dream. Leah also performed in two York College productions: Speak Out and The Tempest. She is looking forward to participating in this performance, and anticipates her appearance in many more York College productions.

Alex Constantinides Mr. Shienkopf

ALEX CONSTANTINIDES is a lower senior at York College with a double major in English and Speech Communication/ Theater Arts.  This will be his seventh show at York College.  His past productions include: The Exonerated, Scapin, Istwa!, Fame, The Complete works of William Shakespeare Abridged andAll In The Timing. His main Interest includes comedy and he cannot get enough of it.  He is excited to be a part of another show at York and looks forward to participating in more plays and pursuing acting outside of school.  "Life is a tragedy when seen in close-up, but a comedy in long-shot."- Charlie Chaplin.

Tori Alleyne Student Ensemble


TORI ALLEYNE is a freshman at York College and plans to study Psychology. She graduated from Humanities and the Arts High School. While there, she was actively involved in gymnastics, cheerleading, and the dance team; all while maintaining a place on the Honor Roll and student government. Not only is Tori athletic and hard working, she also has a passion for song writing and the performing arts. Tori dreams of becoming a marriage counselor, lyricist, and choreographer. She would like to thank God for blessing her with this opportunity and for making her into the young lady she is today. She would also like to thank her friends and family who believe in her dreams and cheer her on everyday, including the cast of Fame!!

Jasmaine Calizaire Student Ensemble


JASMAINE CALIZAIRE is majoring in Speech Communication/ Theater Arts and Education. She is an All-Star and Change Agent (on the Creative Arts Team) of the City University of New York. Jasmaine plans to pursue a Master’s in either theater or urban studies and continue on to become an elementary school teacher. She is currently working on launching her own organization which is a not-for-profit mentorship program for both youth and adults. 

Marcos Caamano Student Ensemble


MARCOS CAAMANO is a sophomore at York College. Although this is his first show at York, he is no stranger to the theatre. He has in been in a variety of shows both in high school and at La Guardia Community College such as: The Wiz, Smokey Joe's Cafe, Annie and Cinderella to name a few. He hopes to one day pursue musical theatre as a profession

Alex Cortez Student Ensemble


ALEX CORTEZ started his interest in the entertainment industry at the age of 8 when he participated in his school production of Romeo and Juliet. He pursued his new found passion for the performing arts for the Performing Arts through out his school years by taking part in school productions show casing dance. He currently has had the opportunity to broaden his horizon by taking up modeling and done freelance work. He now dances his way on stage at York College in Fame.

Alicia Gray Student Ensemble


ALICIA GRAY graduated from BMCC with an Associate’s in Liberal Arts.  She is a transfer junior majoring in Journalism. She has always noticed since she was a child that acting is a possible career for her to express her feelings. This is her first time performing on the York College stage and hopefully not her last.  

La-toya Mason Student Ensemble


LA-TOYA MASON is performing for the first time on the York College stage. She has been dancing ballet, tap and jazz since the age of three and continues to dance, whenever she gets a chance. She is a part of a theatre company in the City, in which she performed in two plays and worked backstage. On her free time she likes to watch movies and take pictures.

Oyinkansola Ogunleye Student Ensemble


OYINKANSOLA OGUNLEYE is a sophomore Biology major at York College. She likes to keep herself occupied with many activities in and outside of school. Last semester she was a dancer in I Am Pan Africa and a performer in The Tempest.  Her career goal is to become an obstetrician.

Stephanie Rodriguez Student Ensemble


STEPHANIE RODRIGUEZ is a senior at York College majoring in Psychology with a minor in Theater Arts. This is her first time actually performing for the York College Theater. However, she has worked on other productions like Antigone, which she was the stage manager on, and on Little Shop of Horrors, which she worked backstage. Although this is her first time performing in the theater, this is not her first time performing at York College. She has performed in a variety of shows for the Latin Caucus Club at York, which she has been a part of for the past three years. Though she loves to act, her main passion is dance. She hopes to use her many talents to explore and live life to its fullest.  

Sergio Sanchez Student Ensemble

SERGIO SANCHEZ is a sophomore at York College majoring in Aviation Management. Sergio has performed with the Latin Caucus Club at York College and has enjoyed bonding with his own culture. Not only does he love to dance to Spanish music but he loves to dance to hip hop and R&B along with singing. In his future years Sergio would like to pursue his career in aviation in which he has a great passion for since he was young. Flying is where he finds his happiness. First and foremost he would like to thank his parents for bringing him this far for believing in him and his dreams and also his friends that have been a great asset to his dreams. Without a doubt he is very determined to bring forth those goals with true strength and hard work and let nothing or no one stand in his way.  

Earline Stephen Student Ensemble


EARLINE STEPHEN is a senior majoring in Speech Communication/Theatre Arts. Her past performances include War and Peace in Ancient Greece and Harlem Speakeasy.  She was excited to get involved with this project because the actors all get to explore so many sides of themselves.   Earline has loved performing ever since she could walk and hopes to continue acting and singing after she graduates.  Her favorite quote as of now is "if you ain't makin money then you ain't got nothing for me" from Beyonce.  She has a great attitude and personality according to her friends and she is determined to make it because "dreams don't die, they multiply."
