Everyone wants something, or someone, they can't have in this fast-paced bittersweet comedy about life in a cafe, on both sides of the counter. The cafe workers live somewhere between community college and finding a purpose in their lives. Daunted by the great unknown, they choose instead to focus on what is imminently attainable, or immediately available. Eric, our hero, quickly falls for Kristi, the new girl. Nicole, Eric's best friend, is obsessed with Ed, a customer who happens to be married with a daughter. David, the manager, is terrified of his impending marriage to his beautiful French fiance. Meanwhile, the customers come and go talking like Michelangelo, demanding their lattes and cappuccinos made to their exact specifications!
