“Loyalties” tells the story of a wealthy young Jew who, in the devastation following the First World War in England, is invited to a high society house party where he is robbed of a large sum of money.  The guests close ranks behind the suspected thief, a dashing but poor English war hero. As the robbery victim acts to recover his money, the loyalties of religion, class, ethics, and honor clash in a blistering indictment of the racism underlying the British class system.

This is Jaike Foley-Schultz’s first Off-Off Broadway production in Manhattan. He has been living in the city since he graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2008 and has been in a number of short films shot in New York, including Laid Off (Red Square Pictures) and Charm School (Palmer and Lyon Productions).  His most recent theatrical production was Chamber Theatre’s Classics! directed by Spring Sirkin, which toured all along the East Coast.  Favorite roles include: Joe E. Brown in Shakespeare in Hollywood, Michael in Pillowman and Virgil in The Civil War.  He is very excited about this role and feels lucky to share his début with such a talented cast and crew.
