FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, PLEASE
“HEE-HAW: IT'S A WONDERFUL LI E” -- From Sam Wainwright's Perspective
AT NUYORICAN POETS CAFE DECEMBER 4 – 20
The holidy season is fast approaching, which means the annual return of many cherished traditions. Heading this list is the yearly Christmastime viewing of the beloved film “It's a Wonderful Life”. Now,
thanks to playwright Daniel F. Levin, theatergoers have a chance to explore the seedier side of Bedford Falls with his new musical “Hee-Haw: It's a Wonderful Li e”. This vaudevillian tragedy provides an opportunity for the character of Sam Wainwright to finally tell his side, giving voice to the less likable people in the classic story. Hosting a night at the Palace, maybe tonight will be the night he wins back Mary Hatch!
December 3rd – December 20th. Thursdays – Saturdays at 7:00 P.M. and Sundays at 5:00 P.M. Opening night is December 4, 2009.
Nuyorican Poets Cafe, 236 East 3rd Street (between Avenues B and C), New York, NY.
