Queens Theatre in the Park (QTP) presents ROSA LOSES HER FACE from December 4-13, 2009 in the Claire Shulman Playhouse Main Stage Theatre at Queens Theatre in the Park, Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Flushing, NY. Tickets are $32-38 and are available at or by phone at 718-760-0064.

The sometimes antagonistic mother/daughter relationship has never been funnier. Unmarried New Yorker, Amy Loo decides to visit her mother in LA after losing her job. Even though mother and daughter are physically closer than ever, the gap between them widens as Rosa decides to find her daughter a husband. Amy digs in resisting her mother's overtures and the battle escalates. Tactics become more ruthless - and more uproarious: competing red dresses, a flying Peking duck and then the ultimate weapon ... What ensues is hilariously familiar to anyone who has experienced the generation gap, the culture gap, or just doesn't quite understand the relatives.
