Genre: Drama
by Ben Trawick-Smith & Caitlin Simkovich

In "41 Degrees North," a pair of mysterious strangers find themselves trapped by circumstance in a remote shack in the woods. One is a volatile young woman suffering from an unexplained gunshot wound; the other, a seemingly ordinary young man hiding a dark past. As their defenses slowly begin to crumble, they reveal the truth of the horrific nightmare that brought them together.

41 Degrees North is the second production from Bare Shakespeare, which produced Romeo and Juliet at Manhattan Rep last December. They are a resident Member Company at Manhattan Rep. The play is directed by Emily Ehlinger.
