This classic Euripides work is the terrifying tale of a powerful sorceress wronged by her husband, ravaged by domesticity, and driven by revenge. This production is heavily influenced by both the “German Expressionism” and “Film Noir” genres; sharp physical movements that convey the emotional extremes of the characters and a classic “black and white” look are just a few of the aspects that make this MEDEA a unique theatrical experience.
Performances May 9, and May 12-16 are all at 8pm; there is also a 3pm matinee on May 16 as well as 3pm performances on Sundays May 10th and 17th.
