Join Columbia Stages and experience an adventure 600 years in the making.

You are cordially invited to attend Columbia Stages' production of Geoffrey Chaucer's THE CANTERBURY TALES, a new adaptation by Ken Kaissar, at The Riverside Theatre (91 Claremont Avenue b/w 120th and 122nd Streets).

This new adaptation of Chaucer's masterpiece, directed by Yuriy Kordonskiy, showcases the entire 2009 M.F.A. Acting class, in a production that celebrates the culmination of their graduate training. The acting ensemble is Amanda Broomell, Ji Young Choi, Sanam Erfani, Rebecca Hirota, Kim Katzberg, James MacBean, Lauren Murphy, Adam Radford, Luc Radu, Casey Robinson, Josh Sauerman, Nadia Sepsenwol, Tom Slot, Steven Sun, Alison Weisgall, Patrick Yeoman and Jehan O. Young.

As a group of pilgrims journeys to Canterbury to pay homage to Thomas Becket, they engage in a battle of wits to see who can tell the most entertaining story. This contest results in breathtaking narratives of glorious honor, salacious lust, unspeakable courage, relentless faith and hilarious ribaldry. Join Columbia's 2009 M.F.A. Acting class as they fearlessly bring to life these timeless tales.

The show officially opens on Thursday, November 13 at The Riverside Theatre (91 Claremont Avenue b/w 120th and 122nd Streets).
