9Thirty Theatre Company (9TTC), a non-profit eco-theater company, will premiere "Lysistrata, Now" on October 19 for their first-year initiative, Planting the Seed.

"Lysistrata, Now" is a fresh adaptation of the anti-war, feminist Greek comedy "Lysistrata." This modernized version of the Classic is infused with live blues & folk music and tells the tale of a group of politically-charged women who band together to fight for peace. 9TTC's "Lysistrata, Now" is starring Rebecca Naomni Jones* (Passing Strange), featuring Ashley Morris* (Die Mommie Die!), directed by Aaron Gonzalez and Justin Eure, with music by Andrew Pastides and Joe Binder and lyrics written and adapted by Jeffrey Burroughs.
