Tarik Davis, originally from New Jersey, began performing comedy in college at Rutgers University with the improv troupe CITRUS. He became more fascinated with the art of improv and eventually enrolled in classes at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York where Amy Poeler, Ian Roberts and other UCB performers/teachers trained him. Tarik was put on the Harold teams “My Kickass Van” and “Gigawatt” to perform in numerous improv and sketch shows at UCB.  Eventually he began performing with those he studied under in shows such as ASSSSCAT. Tarik was hired at Boom Chicago in 2003 and spent almost 4 years in Amsterdam performing, writing and teaching. He also traveled all over Europe to perform and teach in comedy festivals. Tarik left Amsterdam in 2006 and joined the cast of The Second City on the Norwegian Dawn cruise ship. Having completed his time on the ship Tarik returned to Amsterdam briefly, spent some time in LA, and now finds himself back in New York City where he has added some short films and more classical roles to his resume. Tarik has also written and performed two of his own productions, a sketch show called “Bringing the Balance” and“ Tarik on Remote.” He has also written three screenplays, and is currently working on a web series called 'Tokens'. Tarik teaches improv & theatre to all ages and is available to coach.
