Genre: Comedy
Written by: Dylan Thomas, Directed by: Michelle Dean

Composed in the final years of Thomas' life, Under Milk Wood is full of the supple turns of phrase and bawdy humor that are the hallmarks of the writer's most beloved work. Thomas populates his fictional town of Llareggub ("bugger all" spelled backwards) with unforgettable characters like Gossamer Beynon, a beautiful but sexually repressed schoolmarm, and Mr. Pugh, a downtrodden husband with a plan to liberate himself from his imperious wife. Over the course of the day, the town's inhabitants dream, love and sing through their lives.
About the Company: Intimation Theatre Company
Intimation Theatre Company was founded in 2007 on the belief that
theatre has an obligation to engage the audience. We believe that
many experiences are universal. In an age where people find it
difficult to talk to each other, art itself should serve as the bridge.

After running from acting most of her life, Deidre finally stopped running about 5 years ago when she took her first acting class at HB Studios after hanging on to the brochure for about 7 years. "I've always wanted to act but was too shy, afraid, didn't think I had talent. Then at some point I realized that it isn't something you choose to do but must do. It calls out to you and doesn't stop; there's always an element of dissatisfaction with everything else." Deidre has also studied at Atlantic Theater Company's Acting School and the School of Film & Television. Deidre was a member of Love Creek Productions where she most recently performed as Hermione in The Winter's Tale. Deidre is also a singer and has performed at The Duplex on Christopher Street. She is pleased to be working with such a fun and talented group of actors.

John would like to thank Jess, Michelle, this fantastic cast, his family and friends.

Robert Moreira has been acting for about 10 years. Credits include Oedipus Rex, Guys and Dolls, Fifth of July, and The Gut Girls. In The Gut Girls, Robert performed as four completely different characters, all with a British accent. Improvisation is where his heart lies, but performing for an audience is a passion he has had for many years. It is a pleasure for him to be working with such a talented cast of actors and to be doing a work of Dylan Thomas'. He would like to thank his 8th grade Drama teacher, Ms. Gelfand, for convincing him to audition for a high school that would change the way he looked at acting. He would also like to thank his brother for advising him that Drama class was an easy "A". Without that advice he wouldn't be where he is now... gracing the stage with an amazing collection of performers.

Owen has performed in productions at The Schapiro Theater (1000 Ships, Ward No. 6), The Theater at Riverside Church (Pippin) and the American Theater of Actors (Dido, Queen of Carthage, Tamburlaine the Great Part II).
