Genre: Comedy
Created and performed by Jesse Buck

After successful runs at the 2007 Toronto Festival of Clowns and his hometown of Ottawa, Jesse Buck is bringing his innovative one-man clown show Bubkus, to the New York Clown Theatre Festival. With BUBKUS, Buck turns the ordinary into an extraordinarily funny tale for the whole family.

The word "bubkus" is Yiddish for "nothing", and Bubkus was in fact created out of nothing. Using only a blanket, a pillow and a toothbrush, and all without a single word, Buck incorporates clown, puppetry and a myriad of characters as he takes his audience through his fast-paced interactive fable.
