MEDEA

Genre: Classical, Drama, Other
What happens when Medea knows her own story too well?

Heavily adapted from Euripides' play of the same name, 'Medea" tells the story of a woman driven to kill her children as a means of avenging her husband's betrayal. Our play also looks into what it means to tell these well-known, violent stories over and over again. How are actors sacrificed to these actions? How do plays echo through time? Mixing video, movement, and Patsy Cline, "Medea" attempts to tackle some these questions. Running Time: 65 minutes.
