by Suzan-Lori Parks. Produced by Engine37
In November 2002, the Pulitzer prize-winning Suzan-Lori Parks sat down and committed to writing a play a day for the next 365 days. This play cycle is called 365 Days/365 Plays. Throughout the year in numerous locations throughout New York City, over 65 theaters - curated by The Public Theater and the 365 National Festival - will each perform one week of these brief, brilliant snapshots from the imagination of one of America's leading playwrights. Engine37 honors its mission of engaging in socially-conscious theater by creating an "impact-free" performance, with no purchases made and no garbage produced.
