Genre: Comedy, Drama
by Brendan Cowell, Directed by Ianthe Demos

Phil is a guy you'll love to hate... but he might just charm your pants off. Literally. Spend an evening with Phil and see his darkly comic misadventures in BED. From schoolboy dalliances and college trysts to marital failure and home-bound houseboys, Phil's relationship roller coaster will entertain, appall, and maybe even shock you with a hint of the familiar.

Playwright Brendan Cowell is an Australian actor and screenwriter most recently seen in the hit Aussie drama Love My Way (a series for which he is also a contributing writer). BED won the 2001 Sydney Morning Herald/Sydney Theatre Company Patrick White Playwright's Award. Cowell's other plays include Morph, ATM, and Rabbit, which won the 2003 Griffin Playwrighting Award.

"Bed makes you hunger for the next sings with truth, poetry and pain."
