CREATURES OF THE CABARET

Genre: Other
Written by various playwrights, Directed by Shari Johnson

CREATURES OF THE CABARET, a late-night cabaret of new short plays about non-humans written by eight playwrights, opens Friday, March 9 at 11 p.m. at The Looking Glass Theatre.

~

Looking Glass playwrights offer their take on non-humans with stories range from the ridiculously profound to the profoundly ridiculous. Think about it: Eight million New Yorkers never realize that they're sharing the city with all sorts of non-humans. These beings are tired of being ignored and they're demanding your respect. They want their rights, along with what every New Yorker wants, a chance at show business! Here, the trolls, fairies, goblins and ghouls will entertain audiences in an evening of laughs and chills.
