August Strindberg's classic tale of power, gender and class, directed by Daryl Boling

Set in a nobleman's kitchen on Midsummer's Eve, the tragedy explores the balance of power between the sexes and classes. The nobleman's daughter Miss Julie engages in a dangerous psychological game with her father's valet Jean. While she is of nobler birth, his status as a male is superior to hers as a woman. Miss Julie and Jean push the boundaries of their relationship, flirting and arguing with shocking consequences. Who holds the power in their explosive encounter?
