THE LIBATION BEARERS

Are we conscious of the weight of the curses we carry? This
production of The Libation Bearers, a contemporary twist on a Greek
tragedy, illuminates the ways in which we as modern-day cosmopolitan
citizens are not so far evolved beyond the world of ancient,
tyrranical Argos: heavily burdened by grief, guilt, and a thirst for
blood, do we not reach desperately to justify the violence we have
inflicted upon the world around us?
