Michael is thrilled to be working with James and the cast of Measure for Measure. Michael completed two year training programs with Maggie Flanigan (Acting), Shane Ann Younts (Voice, Speech, and Shakespeare), and the Actors Movement Studio (Williamson Technique). Since completing his training last spring, Michael has appeared in three full length and two one act plays. He also wrote, directed and produced his one act play Gameday.

Previous Shakespeare includes Borachio in Much Ado About Nothing for Sounding Theatre Company.

Gregory O'Connor Lucio, a worldly Gentleman
Gregory O'Connor made his New York Stage debut when Burt Young pulled him out of an acting class to play a lead role in the Actor's Studio production of "Hagerty." Mr. O'Connor has since been featured in several off-Broadway plays and a number of television productions and independent films. A very physical actor, his exuberant charm and almost dangerous intensity make for a compelling stage presence.

He has studied acting with Owen Hollander, Gary Swanson, and other members of the Actor's Studio and has worked with Salem Ludwig on his directorial skills. In 2006, Gregory performed in a Bollywood movie, appeared in a Matthew Modine directed film, and played three roles in Pilates - The Musical. Visit http://www.GregoryO.com for more information.

Dustin Smallheer Pompey, tapster to Mistress Overdone
Dustin is happy to return to the American Theatre of Actors, and even to happier to finally be doing his first Shakespeare play. A graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, Dustin won ATA's 2005 Jean Dalrymple Award for Most Promising New Actor for his role as "Jerry" in the "Mother's Song". He has worked in every facet of perfomance but is happy to be back doing his first passion....theatre. Dustin would like to thank his cast for making his this an enjoyable experience, James Jennings for having faith in him, his family for there never ending support, and Jessica for giving him that kick in the butt he needed to be onsatge for this production.
Kevin C. Woods Elbow, a Constable

Charles Baker Escalus, an ancient Lord
Charles Baker recently began studying acting to further a lifelong interest in Shakespeare. His experience now includes Escalus in Measure for Measure, American Theatre of Actors (James Jennings, Director), and a Senator and Gratiano in Othello, produced by the Inner Circle Theater Company at Abingdon Theatre. His training has been at The Michael Howard Studios, at HB Studios, and in voice and speech, with Shane Ann Younts.

Brett Fleisher Froth, a gentleman/Barnadine, a Prisoner
After brilliantly portraying the "wretched boy" in the Shakespeare Theatre's revival of "The Country Wife" six years ago, Brett makes his triumphant return to the stage in Measure for Measure where he plays a fool and a drunk. His absence from the theatre was jolted by a desired search to accurately capture the life of these two characters and in addition to establish a career in film and television. Brett landed several roles where he was given the opportunity to work with such actors as: Anthony Hopkins, Sam Shepard, Amy Madigan, Giovanni Ribisi, and Elias Koteas. But more importantly, Brett found the inspiration he was looking for and is finally ready to play the parts he has devoted his life to...
