Genre: Drama
by Suzanne Lee, directed by Marc Parees

Worth investigates a person's value of love for themselves in relation to the various ways that they can choose to pay for what they need and want. This play juxtaposes the choices made by a Korean American immigrant father and second generation daughter, when they find themselves financially short of their dreams. The father loses his job in a corporate scandal akin to Enron and chooses to enter into a relationship with a wealthy widow with whom he is not in love. His decision is motivated by his own dreams of grandeur and his lack of means to pay the tuition to the Ivy League school to which his daughter has been accepted. His daughter rejects his choice and chooses employment as an exotic dancer to finance her education.
