RELATIONSHIPS skewers some of the savory characters you encounter in life along with a few of the less savory ones in this playful romp. "Relationships" includes a series of vignettes in which students sing a song as they endure a particularly sadistic schoolteacher with a penchant for torture. A teenage boy is upended by his sophisticated parents, who know more about what it means for him to be gay than he does. A therapist is reduced to drinking because his tedious group members have the upper hand. A beautiful ballad describes being lost in love on the computer as the character hunts for a mate on the Internet.
Four actors perform almost 40 different roles and sing 16 musical numbers.
Performances are on Mondays and Tuesdays, January 23, 24, 30, 31 and February 6 and 7 at 8:00 PM.
