Bursting with a standard-filled Loesser score, Damon Runyon's Broadway of the 1940s is inhabited by loveable gamblers, sizzling "hotbox" nightclub performers, and stalwart Salvation Army members. From the heart of Times Square to the cafes of Havana, Cuba, the action never stops - fueled by legendary characters in love Nathan Detroit, Miss Adelaide, Sky Masterson and Sister Sarah - with such rousing songs as "Luck be a Lady," "Sit Down You're Rockin' the Boat," "A Bushel and a Peck," "If I Were a Bell," and "Guys and Dolls."
