The unholy love child of Almost Famous and Hedwig

Rock Show is the story of a band on the verge of success. It's the night of their CD release party and tensions are high: the drummer and the lead singer's girlfriend are at each others throats, there's an influential critic floating about, and and A&R man from Sony records who may be interested in the band...or just one of the band members.

With 90 minutes of original, air-guitar inspiring rock music, a venue perfectly suite for live music, and compelling characters this is a night you won't soon forget.

Composer/musical director Chris Blisset returns from the traveling production of Stand by Your Man: the Tammy Wynette Story to reprise his role as Red, the lead guitarist with a big secret. Writer Paul Stancato, a veteran of experience theater who has appeared in Blue Man Group and the original cast of De La Guarda, is back as cantankerous drummer and manager Mikey V.

Carlos Bermudez returns as cocksure front man Bobby Black, as does acclaimed director James Alexander Bond, whose direction of The Pearl Theatre Company's The Merry Wives of Windsor was a critic's pick from both The New York Times and Time Out New York.
