Hanna Cheek Queen Atossa
Hanna Cheek (actor/writer) With Waterwell, Hanna Cheek has performed in Chill & Serve, at numerous venues around New York City and Sweetness & Light. In April 2004, Ms. Cheek performed at Playwrights Horizon in First You're Born to much critical acclaim. She has also appeared in The Pumpkin Pie Show: Ringside Seats at the Belt Theatre. Other NY credits: Broken Boughs (Blue Heron Arts Center) Judith, a comedy troupe (The Kitchen), The Pumpkin Pie Shows: Rise Perverts Rise, Big Top, and The Birds and the Bees. In LA she wrote, directed and produced Bad Touch: A Sketchy Show (Masquerade Theatre) and performed numerous improv shows at IO West. Ms. Cheek studied at Sarah Lawrence College where she played Nina in The Seagull and Eva in Kindertransport. While studying abroad at the British American Dramatic Academy in London she also portrayed Lady Macbeth (Bridge Lane Theatre). TV credits: The West Wing, Titus, and MTV's Undressed.

Rodney Gardiner King Darius
Rodney Gardiner (actor/writer) With Waterwell, Rodney Gardiner has performed in Stuck, Chill & Serve and Sweetness & Light . Most recently, Mr. Gardiner acted in Master Harold...and the Boys at the acclaimed GableStage in Miami. Mr. Gardiner also performed "Episodes in Blue", a section of Chill and Serve, at the GAWK Festival in late January and at the Peoples Improv Theater. He has performed at the Utah Shakespearean Festival in the acclaimed Man of La Mancha and Cymbeline. A graduate of SUNY Purchase, Rodney appeared in the Caucasian Chalk Circle, Conference of the Birds, Three Sisters, Comedy of Errors, Balm in Gilead and The Cherry Orchard. He spent six years with The Colored Boy Crew doing guerilla theatre in Miami's inner city, performing in jailhouses, hospitals, rehab facilities, and street corners. This kind of work is inseparable from the people who inspire it, therefore in this tradition he brings you "Wailin' Walter." Also, look for Mr. Gardiner on the newest Comcast commercial.

Wynn Handman) and Homebody/Kabul (BAM, dir. Frank Galati). Regional: Homebody/Kabul (Steppenwolf, dir. Frank Galati), As You Like It, Othello (Utah Shakespearean Festival) Films: The Christians, Arranged and Church Story. TV: MONY (Series Regular, dir. Spike Lee), all the Law & Orders and Six Degrees. Arian is co-founder of the critically-acclaimed theater company Waterwell. He has acted/devised 9 Waterwell drops including The Persians…, Marco Millions (based on lies) (Drama Desk Nominated), The/King/Operetta and #9. Also, his first full length screenplay, This Island Made Me, starring Campbell Scott, is currently in development.

Tom Ridgely The Messenger
Tom Ridgely (actor/writer/director) is a Waterwell co-founder and has directed The Maker of Dreams, Life In Pink and part I of Sweetness & Light for the company . He has been a puppeteer with Those Funny Little People in Chicago, IL; danced in the International Dance Festival, CalArts Dances Downtown and with SYREN Modern Dance in NYC; and is currently a member of the Peoples Improv Theater house team, Big Black Car.
